Traveling With Books

I thought Traveling With Books would be a good title for this post. I enjoy travel and adventure their experiences can open the mind to new ways of thinking. Also there are plenty of things to be gained from traveling abroad or domestic such as new friends, new experiences, new stories.

So now my Winter Reading List is growing with some travel and adventure, for my selection I have chosen a mosaic of women who venture out into the world to explore, connect and live their lives to the fullest by being uninhibited nomads.

“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad/Roughing It
